We purchased the 'dish soap' with the understanding it could also serve perfectly well for hand soap. We do not regularly use it for hand-washing items we don't wash in the dish washer - as it seems to not cut the oils from our cooking (we only use olive oil and canola oil.) Its lovely for hand washing and I like the sturdy bottle with no-slip base. With next purchase, we will skip the essential oil scents option, as they are remarkable strong and one of us is very scent-sitive.
